D-Day, June 6th, 1944, the invasion of American, British and Canadian troops on the Northeastern coast of France marks the beginning of the end of World War II. In "The liberation of Paris" August 25, 1994, Nazi Major Reiner (Stefan Schnabel) trys to hold Paris, but the Nazis are defeated. Parisians celebrate the victory of freedom in the streets near the end of the Second World War.
