Summary: Finding the way to peace in the Middle East continues to be one of the great challenges of international diplomacy. This volume provides an authoritative annotated overview of attempts to make peace in the region, including all relevant documents related to the Arab-Israeli conflict over the past century since the Sykes-Picot Agreement of 1916, and a full set of accompanying maps specially made for this edition.
