Dramatic work about social, political and economic conditions in Egypt in the 1920s. "Aḥmad ʻAbd al-Jawwād" "Aḥmad" met a woman called "Zannūbah", but she loved his son "Yāsīn" and she married him. Aḥmad's son "Kamāl" loved a woman from a rich family but she refused his proposal for marriage and left him.
