After defeat by the British army, General George Washington (Russ Conway) and Colonols Harrison (John Larch) and Tilghman (Denver Pyle) debate and decide to launch a surprise attack from two different places. "Washington's Farewell to His Officers" describes the events of December 4, 1783, the end of the Revolutionary War. General Washington (E. G. Marshall) meets with General McDougall (Edward Binns), General Knox (Milton Selzer) and General Von Steuben (George Voskovec).
