"This book is printed in an edition of 350 copies. It was designed by Bob Elliott and digitally typeset by Charles Hall using QuarkXPress. The text was printed litho at BAS, Andover, on Mohawk Superfine paper in 11.5/15 pt ITC Galliard CC with Mantinia for display. The letterpress pages were printed on a 1910 treadle platen press at The Old School Press on hand-made papers from pre-1986 Oxford University Press stocks using the remaining founts of Fell type. In copies I to L, the Daniel Press type facsimile was printed by the authors in the Bodleian Library on Daniel's Albion hand-press. Fifty copies were specially bound and numbered I to L; the paper on their boards was marbled by Ann Muir in a seventeenth-century style but with a twentieth-century flavour. Two hundred and fifty copies were bound in full cloth with Mohawk Superfine end-papers, and numbered 1 to 250; their dustjackets were printed on a Western proofing press at The Old School Press ... Fifty copies, numbered 251 to 300, were reserved in sheets for binders. This is copy 72"--Colophon. UPB
