CAD free-form modeling is a tool invented in the second half of the last century to be able to design and produce artifacts with smooth and continuous lines. Over time, also thanks to the technological evolution of production systems, this type of modeling has become a standard for many areas: industrial design and architecture among them; recently, engineering. Simplified Complexity is a learning method for NURBS modeling with Rhinoceros®. Originated from the synthesis of twenty years of professional experience and teaching, Simplified Complexity consists of a structured knowledge system, ideal to fully understand the operation of the program and take advantage of its full modeling potential. The idea behind the Simplified Complexity method is that when the software interface is intuitive, the NURBS geometry remains; Therefore, if you want to learn how to design in a professional way with Rhinoceros, it is necessary to start from geometry in order to foresee and avoid complexity or, if this is not possible, reduce it and optimize it - simplifying.
